What makes Crush Groove Cosmetics so different from the hundreds of other mineral makeup lines?

Crush Groove Cosmetics provide vegan crushed mineral makeup without the use of talc, bismuth oxychloride, titanium dioxide, animal by-products, and FD&C Dyes. This is the only vegan herbal mineral makeup line that provides realistic skin tones. Our minerals are enriched with green tea, lavender, kudzu root, and calendula which provides anitoxidants and soothes the skin.

I find that mica irritates my skin. Do you use mica in your products?

Crush Groove Cosmetics mineral foundation does not contain mica. Mica is the main ingredient in most mineral makeup which causes skin irritation and leaves a faux shiney glow...yuck!

Is your mineral makeup for all ethnicities?

Of course! Unlike most mineral makeup, our mineral foundation ranges from the darkest to the lightest skin tones with 3 undertones to choose from: red, yellow, and olive. Crush Groove Cosmetics now has a special customized service to match your current makeup!

Is the makeup compatible for all skin types?

This makeup is excellent for all skin types. Whether you have oily, combination, or normal skin, you will benefit from the soothing herbs that prevent breakouts and premature aging. Our makeup also provides complete and safe coverage for skin conditions like acne, rosacea and melasma.

Does Crush Groove Cosmetics test their products on animals?

We do NOT test our products on animals. Not only are we animal cruelty-free, we are human cruelty-free too!

Do you have concealers?

Since Raw Earth Powder is concentrated with crushed minerals, you do not need a concealer. If you would like extra coverage, buff with a face brush or use a wet/dry sponge.

Does Crush Groove Cosmetics work all day long?

Yes. Our minerals are concentrated and does not dissolve in water or oil. Therefore, your foundation can last all day, even after the gym!

What moisturizer should I use?

It is important that the skin is evenly moisturized so the Raw Earth Powder can 'adhere' to the skin. For best results, apply Remix face serum before foundation application.

What cleanser should I use?

For best results, we recommend you use a natural oil base to remove the makeup and a natural face soap suitable for your skin type.

I am not sure what shade I am, how do I choose my color?

Understanding your undertone is key to selecting the most flattering shade. Choosing the wrong undertone can leave you looking muddy, too golden, or gray. It is highly recommended to order a sampler kit that is closest to your shade.  

I think I found the perfect Raw Earth Powder color but it is between two shades. Is it ok to mix them?

Sure! Raw Earth Powder shades are very easy to blend.
